Long before Japan adopted coffee from the West, it was a land of tea and still retains much of that culture. In particular, tea ceremony is still a thriving aspect of Japanese culture that many visitors come to experience. While around Kanazawa, there are several places at which to enjoy simplified versions of the Japanese tea ceremony with wagashi and matcha.
